DIY NECK ROPE INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1
Start by measuring your horse's neck and determining your desired neckrope length. Fold your rope in half and locate that exact midpoint on the cord.
Hold the two ends and fold to create a loop, then thread them back through to secure a knot. Make sure you tighten your knot as much as possible.
Step 2
Cut away the singed cord ends, they were sealed to prevent fraying during shipping.
Gently separate the outer sheath to create soft, flowing tassels that give your rope its finished look.
Step 3
You'll now have two distinct materials: the colourful outer paracord sheath and the white inner strands. Carefully separate these, then trim away the inner strands entirely.
Once removed, use a lighter to gently melt and fuse the cut end into your knot. This seals the knot securely whilst concealing the white interior for a polished, finished look.
Step 4
Now pinch the external paracord pieces together and trim them to your desired length for a uniform finish.
